FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you currently accepting patients?

Yes!

How do I schedule an appointment?

If you are interested in establishing care, please submit an inquiry through the form on this website. I typically respond within 5 business days.

Will my insurance cover my visit?

I am not currently in-network with any insurance plan. If your insurance has out-of-network benefits, it may cover a portion of the cost of your visits. If so, I will provide a “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

We have partnered with Reimbursify for you to easily submit your claims for out-of-network health insurance reimbursement at no cost for this practice.  Download the app to get started today:

How much do visits cost?

Our initial phone or virtual consultation is free. There is a one-time fee of $500 for the intake evaluation (90min). Follow-up appointments are $275 per session (30min medication management visit) or $375 per session (60min weekly therapy and medication management).

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours in advance of the time of the appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will automatically incur a fee representing 50% of the appointment cost.

Who do you treat?

I only provide treatment to adults age 18-65 living in Massachusetts. As a general rule I do not treat patients with recent suicide attempt, recent psychiatric hospitalization, active self injurious behavior, severe eating disorder, borderline personality disorder, or severe substance use disorder(s). I believe these conditions are best addressed within a practice that can offer 24/7 coverage and/or a wider scope of medical services than I am able to provide.

Do you offer telemedicine appointments?

I offer a choice of in-person or telemedicine appointments, subject to change based on current COVID-related guidelines. Virtual appointments are conducted through a secure HIPPA-compliant platform and require a computer with audio and video capability.
